During my fourth year at high school, I was lucky enough to be granted work experience at Ryder Architecture. This was a great chance to see the inner workings of an international architecture firm and see the projects they were working on at that time. My project at Ryder was to design a family home for Leazes Park in Newcastle. As this was my first architectural design it is very conceptual and lacks some reality. However it has got some interesting ideas reminiscent of the Farnsworth House designed by Mies van der Rohe.
